Bekal Beach is located at a distance of 14 Km from Kasargod in north Kerala. How to Reach Bekal Beach by Airways: The nearest airport is Bajpe airport, Mangalore, connected daily to Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai. A pre paid taxi to Kasargod from the Bajpe Airport costs approximately Rs 1200 and to Bekeal or Nileshwaram Rs1,600 approx.
How to Reach Bekal Beach by Railways: Kasargod Station is well connected to Kozhikode by the Mangalore mail and Parashuram express, among daily trains. Netravati express is an excellent option for Ernakulam, Trivandrum and Mumbai. Mangla Laskwadeep express goes all the way to Delhi. Mangalore Mail is an excellent link from Chennai. You can get a bus or taxi to Bekal Fort from the station.
How to Reach Bekal Beach by Roadways: Bekal is 19km from Kasargod, connected to Mangalore(49km), Kannur(93km), Kozhikode(175km), Panjim and Mumbai by NH17.
Bus: Kasaragod’s KSRTC Bus stand has frequent daily services to Mangalore, Kannur, Thalsssery, Kozhikode and Kochi among other places.
